This site serves to provide a listing of jobs for PhDs in political science and adjacent fields (e.g., public administration, public policy). You can submit jobs, status updates about said jobs, and list yourself as a candidate.

This site is managed by me, Dr. Landgrave, but relies on crowdsourced information. Thank you everyone for providing job status updates, sharing their starting packages, etc. etc. etc.! Without you this site wouldn't operate.

PS. I know that the job market can be a low point in anyone's career, whether you're an ABD looking for your first job or a senior scholar looking to move closer to home. I hope that throughout your job search you remember that your value isn't tied to a job. We work to live, not live to work!

Also remember that a lot of the market is decided by factors outside your control. Some years Deans collectively agree to hire in X field and not in Y field. Some departments need someone to cover classes in Z field or to run a center on U studies. Sometimes you fit the bill, and sometimes its your cohort mate who fits the bill. In the end, all you can do is send your application in and focus on other things. I know I write from a privileged position, but I really believe things work themselves out in the end.
